Legal
Terms of use
Last updated:
These terms cover glood.app, the Glood web dashboard and your Glood account. Glood is made by Kenzlab. By creating an account or using Glood, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Glood.
The app
Glood is coming to the App Store for iPhone and iPad. When you install it from the App Store, your use of the app is also covered by Apple’s standard licence for apps. Where the two differ on the app itself, Apple’s licence applies.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Give accurate information when you create it. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Your rides stay yours
Your rides, routes, photos and the other things you add belong to you. You allow Glood to store and process them only to run Glood for you: to show them to you, keep them in your account, and work out your statistics. How this is done, and which services receive data, is set out in the Privacy page.
Only add GPX files, photos and other content you have the right to use.
Ride safely
Glood is a tool to help you plan, record and review rides. It does not replace your own judgement. Watch the road, follow traffic rules, and do not handle your phone in a way that puts you or others at risk.
Maps, routes, climbs, elevation and training figures come from data that can be incomplete or wrong. A route in Glood may not be legal, open or safe to ride. Ride alerts and emergency-contact messages depend on your phone, its battery, its location and the network, and may not reach anyone. Do not rely on Glood in an emergency; contact the emergency services directly.
Training suggestions are general guidance, not medical advice. Check with a doctor before starting or changing a training programme, especially if you have a health condition.
Using Glood fairly
Do not use Glood to break the law, to access other people’s accounts or data, to interfere with the service or the systems behind it, or to copy or collect data from it automatically.
Availability and changes
Glood is provided as it is and as it is available. Features may change, pause or stop, and we cannot promise the service will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Kenzlab is not responsible for losses that come from using or being unable to use Glood.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and if a change matters we will say so in the app or on this site. Using Glood after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. A deletion request starts a 30-day grace period, during which you can restore the account; after that, your rides, routes, files, profile and sign-in are removed. The Support page explains how.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Other services
Glood works with other services, such as map providers and Apple Health. Their own terms apply when you use them.
